The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Incumbent is assigned to the Human Resources Section and provides assistance and coordination with the following programs: EER/ePerformance, EPR, EFM Employment, and other administrative duties in the HR section. They also provide administrative and clerical services to State Department offices throughout the Consulate requiring short-notice/-term support or special projects assistance. Incumbent may be assigned to projects on a flexible schedule (intermittent, part-time or full-time) dependent on the needs of the office/section to which assigned. The jobholder must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance, which is needed for initiating security clearance cases in e-QIP and providing security escorting in CAA. Is supervised by the HR EFM Employment Coordinator and receives work direction for the HR Administrative Assistant.
EXPERIENCE: Requires a minimum of one year of experience in business or office work environment, which involves the use of regulatory materials.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Completion of Secondary School or Local Mandatory Schooling and received high school diploma.
LANGUAGE: Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading English is required. (This may be tested)
