(Relocation package available) Meijer is seeking a Voice Engineer with background in Collaboration and Customer Experience technologies to assist in furthering our development of NextGen Voice Services. (Microsoft Teams, Genesys Cloud CX) The Voice Engineer leads or participates in the implementation and migration of related platforms. The Voice Engineer is responsible for engineering and/or analytical activities associated with Collaboration and Customer Experience technologies. Performs tasks related to small to large projects, software and hardware installation and configuration, problem resolution and performance tuning. What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities): Assists in designs for contact center technologies. Implements identified solutions, making suggestions to ensure a cost-effective and efficient infrastructure environment to provide the resources essential to enterprise operations. Familiar with and able to install and maintain associated hardware and software. Identifies opportunities for improving service efficiency and reliability through automation. Develops a working knowledge of department specific applications through both internal and external educational opportunities. Address service issues and carry out field operations (all Meijer locations ~300) as required. What You Bring With You (Qualifications): Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 years experience in IT infrastructure environments supporting collaboration and contact center technologies and services. Experience must include some or all of the following: Genesys Cloud CX, Skype for Business/Teams, AudioCodes SBCs and gateways and/or Faxcom. Certifications related to above technologies are preferred. Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP and network concepts required for operation of VOIP. Experience working in an agile environment – SAFe agile a plus. Strong technical and non-technical communication skills. Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs. Strong ability to identify user requirements and aid in problem resolution; good customer service and communication skills. Good judgment and analytical skills; as well as follow up and organizational skills.
