AnalogDream eV Hiring for Internship as an artist assistant Job at Berlin Full Time
AnlogDream is established in Berlin to produce the Apelbaum series, an art show which studies the concept of queer mascunlinites through the process of marrying visual art, performance, music and rave. Several artists, performers, actors, designers, engineers, Djs are coming together to create a unique immersive experience, where the public performs with the art and the AI immersive cognitive paintings created by Jonathan Apelbaum.
Tasks
Assisting in the delivery of contemporary exhibitions and commissions, from the research and development stage of a project through to its installation and realisation.
Assist in the creation of the paintings;
Wood work
Metal work
Electrical work
Juggle several projects concurrently for the execution of contemporary exhibitions, commissions from private galleries, and displays in public spaces.
Assist in the creation and production of exhibition and commercial catalogues.
Organise exhibition-related transport:
Coordinate packaging, transport, insurance, and registrar duties
Update shipping lists, obtain cost estimates
Monitor customs documentation, liaise with shippers and the exhibition curators within the receiving and host galleries and art institutions
Act as courier for touring exhibitions if necessary.
Requirements
You need to know how to use your hands and your brain and think on your own, to propose new ideas and concepts.
You will have a lot of freedom to develop yourself and your skills.

This is not a paid internship but you will learn a lot working with our production, communication, choreographing, sound designer, ….
We want to remind you that it’s a part-time 6 month unpaid internship so that you have time to develop your project and work on the side but also because we want to give you responsibility and an interesting project.
