About First Momentum
First Momentum Ventures is one of the most extraordinary venture capital funds of this generation.
All of our partners are under 30 and have built our first fund in 2018 as a campus spin-off. Now we are launching our second €30-40m VC fund.
Throughout the last years, we have invested in around 30 pre-seed startups, focusing on B2B and (deep) tech companies, and have become one of the most renowned pre-seed and tech investors in Germany.
Since then, many of our portfolio companies have raised successful follow-up funding rounds from the best European and US investors.
With our new fund, we are taking First Momentum Ventures to the next level and continue to build one of the best pre-seed VCs in Europe!
Tasks
You actively source for exciting pre-seed start-ups through various channels
You meet with founders to talk about their newly founded ventures.
You prepare analytical and market-related research on start-ups from different industries.
You support our portfolio companies in diverse tasks (analyses, sales, hiring, etc.)
You have a critical eye on our internal processes and take the initiative to implement new workflows and tools that make our work more efficient.
Requirements
You have a great passion for start-ups and technologies.
You have a Master’s degree in business or with a technology focus and have already gained at least 1 year of work experience, ideally in a start-up or even with a VC fund.
You have strong analytical skills, are passionate and feel very comfortable in an ambitious environment.
You work independently and enjoy tackling complex projects.
You are inquisitive, persuasive and reflective.
You like to communicate openly, be it with start-ups, other VCs or internally.
