Ocean Park Hiring for Head of Guest Experience and Education Job at Hong Kong Full Time
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the role of incumbent is to lead and manage the Guest Experience and Education Division to ensure Ocean Park’s facilities, attractions and education programs are operated safely and efficiently and the highest quality of service and show value is being provided to the guests. He or she will also assist in the Park’s general development, strategies formulation and forward planning.
Responsibilities
Plan, manage and direct the park operations to ensure a safe, cost-effective and efficient operations with public appeal
Ensure effectiveness of the Division’s product/service delivery and provide direction to adjust based on changing requirements of the Park
Maintain the best possible show quality of the Park and ensure ongoing inspections and reporting of maintenance requirements
Develop and implement long-term strategic plans and annual plans of the education operations
Ensure adherence to all Government rules and regulations, and liaise with regulatory authorities regarding compliance with regulations and issues of concern within the Park
Develop and maintain statistical reports to evaluate the Park’s performance in safety, efficiency, guest service and attendance mix through a variety of operational metrics
Plan and implement the Park’s operating calendar and operating hours in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing team to provide an efficient and profitable operation and promote an extended length of stay
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above
At least 15 years of working experience, preferably in theme park, entertainment, recreational or related field
At least 10 years of managerial/leadership position
Experience in coordinating large-scale projects, special events and entertainment, as well as education programs is an advantage
Strong analytical mind-set and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication (English and Chinese) and presentation skills
