Responsible for all parts that are built according to the manufacturing plan and customer specifications.
Ensuring employees and team leaders are properly trained and empowered to execute job requirements.
Communicate work rules and required standards of conduct.
Evaluate employee performance and initiate employee training and discipline as necessary.
Identify, control and communicate risk in operations.
Ensuring employees are trained to perform their jobs safely.
Act as a role model and ensure that employees model safe behaviors.
Initiate and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corective actions.
Ensuring production reports are accurately maintained.
Organize and schedule work, including managing breaks, overtime, vacation, and absence coverage to meet production requirements.
Meet the efficiency target and plant BTS.
Ensure conformance to quality procedures and the proper application of quality and process controls.
Encourage, support, and communicate operator improvement ideas, and assist with implementation once the ideas have been approved.
Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement teams, identifying and proposing possible solutions and supporting its effective implementation.
Ensure communication between shifts and team meetings.
Participate in meetings with managers to evaluate performance results and planned actions.
Participate in critical parts meetings as needed, and walk daily.
Participate or lead safety-related processes, such as risk assessment, development work instruction, incident investigations, LPA, 6S, safety walks, etc.
Ensure that legal and HSE management system requirements for work areas are met.
