The Revit Drafter is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and complete construction drawings for factory built residential projects using Revit software. The ideal employee shall have a positive, can-do attitude, commitment to completing complex tasks on deadline, and good communication skills. • Complete factory shop drawings and site construction drawings for residential projects in a timely manner, using templates managed by Samara’s senior staff • Research particular AHJ’s documentation requirements and incorporate them into project sheet set • Pick up and incorporate redlines thoroughly and efficiently
Experiencia y requisitos
*Ability to create and modify Revit families
• Strong understanding of Revit best practices, file structure, family creation, visibility setting, design options and work sharing
• Strong understanding of residential design and construction practices and procedures
• Knowledge of light gauge steel framing and modular construction experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of Dynamo and/or MWF plugin is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Nice to have Design experience of California, Texas single family home, multifamily home
• Knowledge of CNC codes .CSV is a plus.
