Senior Project Manager

Sanderson have teamed up with a global technology company to recruit a Senior Project Manager for their G-LOC team in Ireland. Responsibilities will include leading a team to expand the Global transportation network, establish hubs and develop the transportation management platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team, ensuring efficient organization and delivery of tasks.
• Manage shift system for Regional and Country Hub requirements.
• Recruit and develop a team focused on excellence and service.
• Design training processes for team upskilling and growth.
• Advocate for learning platforms to support continuous development.
• Provide constructive performance evaluations and feedback.
• Contribute to the growth of the G-LOC operation.
• Oversee projects to set up new hubs and IT infrastructure.
• Establish a Project Management Office (PMO) within G-LOC
• Develop project plans, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Guide strategic analysis and project phases for on-time completion.
• Manage project communications and risk management.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Computer Science, or related field
• 8-12 years’ experience in IT/Logistics Project Management
• Logistics project leadership with Transportation Management Platform expertise
• Proficiency in waterfall or agile methodologies and Lean Six Sigma
• Successful track record in project delivery within Logistics and Transportation
• Strong critical thinking skills and team supervision experience
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and set priorities.
• Highly organized, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills (French, Spanish, German, Chinese) advantageous
• Skilled communicator and stakeholder manager
• Experience in global, multicultural teams and matrix organizations.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 50%, driver’s license preferred.
