DFDS are looking for someone to join our dynamic & energetic team based in Dublin as a Logistics Coordinator….
Working Mon – Fri, 08:30 – 17:00, you will be acting as the key point of contact for our customers throughout Ireland & the UK, ensuring we deliver a high level of customer service, in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be interacting with our customers by email, phone and via our portal, processing their bookings, include arranging collections and deliveries. On hand to provide updates to the customers answering any queries and continue to respond quicky and efficiently to any questions which arise. Excellent oral & written communication skills are key to maintain effective communication channels with the customers, alongside outstanding IT skills, which must include good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel.
During daily calls with our clients, you will build & maintain relationships and assist with requests such as confirming agreements and the updating of further systems to provide transport colleagues with all information required. We need you to be outgoing, and persuasive when reacting to the needs of the business, flexing what the priorities are on any given day, combined with providing timely solutions as transportation issues arise. You will be responsible for maintaining KPI’s and trackers for the customers along with those for internal business use. Naturally, administration forms part of this role and it is critical that this completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when finalising traffic reports & invoicing.
We are looking for someone who has experience in logistics already and if you have knowledge of port and terminal operations already as well, then you’ll really hit the ground running.
