Job Description:
Develops testing strategy and master test plan to support testing objectives. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Manages the relationship with peer in IT and business for system(s) supported.
• Leads and coordinates all testing within a system area.
• Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of testing components.
• Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design.
• Reviews/Approves all project related test assets for completeness and quality.
• Ensures all applicable SDLC and testing processes are followed.
• Manages both onshore and offshore test execution resources for project under test.
• Accountable for Test Data Management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories, ID gaps, and owns test data provisioning tasks.
Qualifications
• Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of executing application testing and IT product quality experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Quality Certification, such as CSTE, CSQA, CMST, CSQE strongly preferred.
• If this job is assigned to any Government Business Division entity, the applicant and incumbent fall under a `sensitive position’ work designation and may be subject to additional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions.
• Requirements include but are not limited to more stringent and frequent background checks and/or government clearances, segregation of duties principles, role specific training, monitoring of daily job functions, and sensitive data handling instructions.
• Associates in these jobs must follow the specific policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. as stated by the Government Business Division in which they are employed
Preferred skills
3-5 years of automation and manual testing experience.
• Experience in performing functional, system and regression testing of Web & Mobile applications.
• Must have solid hands-on experience in scripting automation using Selenium webdriver (Java).
• Experience using Atlassian agile tools such as JIRA, Bamboo, version control tools such as bitbucket or git preferred.
• Experience with TDD or BDD Framework is required.
• Experience with API/ Web services testing.
• Experience in testing micro services using frameworks such as RestAssured is an asset.
• Hands on experience with BDD tools like Cucumber is preferred.
• Excellent Communication skills to coordinate work within offshore/ onshore team members.
• Experience working in Agile Software Development environment.
• Health Insurance Domain knowledge is preferred.
• Must be able to learn new QA tools and frameworks.
• Experience with QTest is an asset.
• Work with automation testing team to develop, maintain and execute automated system and regression test suites.
• Work with DevOps and development teams to improve CI/CD/CT and speed of delivery.
• Create, maintain and report testing metrics with a passion to constantly improve product quality and usability
