Essential Duties:
Five years’ experience as a bartender in a country club or restaurant.
Provide full beverage service including preparation of cocktails, mocktails and beer.
Ability to prepare bottles for formal wine service, some knowledge of wine is helpful.
Proper food handling and safety knowledge is a must.
Position is compliant with Maryland state liquor laws, including responsible alcohol service.
Maintain bar, cabinets, fridges and guest dining spaces as clean, stocked and organized.
Manage the bar program including inventory, submit purchase orders for approval based on par levels; restock all bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes and other soft beverages.
Consistently present a positive attitude to greet and communicate with members and guests.
Provide event service for large parties at outside events, as well as in the clubhouse.
Ability to use a point of sale system, like IBS, to charge members and guests accurately.
Ability to perform closing duties which include cleanup, setting alarms, and locking gate.
Excellent communication skills, required to speak and read English to review bar & dining menus, BEO’s, staff email notices and other marketing collateral provided by the management.
Answer incoming calls professionally and take reservations accurately; may be asked to check incoming email for member online reservations.
Strictly follow Club rules and adhere to the Four Streams’ F&B training manual of procedures, professionalism, staff uniform appearance and cleanliness, and be passionate about hospitality.
May perform other duties as assigned, including proper storage, handling and inventory tracking of cigars and humidor maintenance.

Physical Demands:
Required to stand and walk during shift, as well as stoops frequently and lifts up to 25 lbs., occasionally may lift 50 lbs., including cases of wine, kegs, coolers and moving dining tables and chairs.
Certificates/Licenses:
Alcohol Awareness Training / TIPS Certified.
ServSafe certification a plus, but not required.
