Senior Firmware Engineer

responsible for implementing solutions in embedded software and resolving technical barriers for customers using products targeted at data center applications. market leading products are enabling the next generation of cloud storage, video acceleration, and machine learning.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Analysis of customer issues and feature requests and taking opportunities to continuously improve the product
• Debug and fix issues in embedded software and test platforms for existing products
• Collaboration across multiple teams to root cause and resolve issues
The Successful Candidate Will

• Have an ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technical areas
• Have a pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Have a strong understanding of hardware/software interfaces and understand common embedded software design constraints like memory, power, and speed
• Have clear and concise communication skills and be capable of communicating with customers at a technical level
• Exhibit strong teamwork skills as part of a fast-moving, multi-site team.
Qualifications
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
• related work experience with embedded firmware development a plus
Proficiency in C with Python a plus
Experience with Linux kernel/drivers/boot loaders/DDR/Flash

Board level experience preferred
