About the role
The Commercial
Finance Business Partner (China) and FP&A Analyst will oversee accounting, Chinese
tax, and FP&A functions. This role involves supporting the China sales team
through effective business partnering to gain timely insights into financial
performance. Reporting into the Regional Finance Director, this role
collaborates with finance partners across multiple regions to consolidate
month-end results, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide monthly
reports to Corporate FP&A, Asia management team, and regional reporting,
including forecasts and annual budgets
Analyse and report on
month-end results, including customer performance, brand, marketing, and
SG&A
Support China performance through collaboration and
providing insights and guidance as required
Align customer/SKU
volumes, sales, and spend rates with financial budgets and forecasts in
Hyperion and SO&P
Conduct pricing
analysis and provide insights on new customer, NPD, and RTM proposals
Conduct in-depth analysis
of volume, sales, and EBITDA bridges, including price, volume, and mix
analysis, supported by relevant insights
Take the lead in
creating pricing, trade spend, and rebate matrices tailored to the China
market’s need
Deliver timely,
accurate analysis and reporting for customer value chain, debtors, pricing,
trade terms, and marketing spend profitability
Prepare Executive
Committee (EC), CFO, and Business Performance Reviews (BPR’s) Packs as required
What you’ll bring:

organisation. Experience includes:
Minimum 3 + years in a Senior Commercial
Finance Analyst role (or similar)
Masters/ BA Degree Commerce/Business Degree
with Accounting Qualification
Understanding of
local tax regulation in China, including Corporate Tax, Statutory tax, sales tax,
VAT and Exise
Ability to speak and
comprehend fluent Mandarin
Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in IFRS and FRS 101 accounting
standards, with experience in preparing statutory accounts, including
consolidated accounts
High level analytical and interpersonal skills
and build strong stakeholder relationships
Results driven and able to work autonomously
Exceptional organisational skills
Ability to prioritise multiple deadlines and
multi-task
