Logistics Specialist (d/f/m) at Airbus Kit Factory

From the Airbus Kit Factory we enable sustainable fleet growth & modernization and keep aircrafts all over the world flying.
All parts of upgrade, retrofit and repair kits to be provided to Airbus in-service aircraft are kitted in our warehouse. The actual logistics processes are operated by a logistics service provider.
We – as the recruiting organization – are responsible to prepare & control the kit production, manage the commercial aspects between the logistic service provider and Airbus and continuously improve the existing processes.
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Align, coordinate and update the needed process documentation according to the ongoing improvement projects.
Identify opportunities for improvement in existing process documentation.
Formalize implementation plans and lead the implementation from concept phase over solution design up until confirmation of solution effectiveness.
Integrate your expertise and the implemented solutions in the Airbus Business Process structure to ensure compliance to authority requirements.
Be the Airbus Logistics specialist on site and define future logistics requirements which lead the Kit Factory towards its ambition to be the reference for kitting operations.
Desired skills and qualifications
Master’s degree in logistics or equivalent
Project Management/ Process Improvement/ Supply Chain knowledge
1-3 years experience in different companies in a similar position
English fluent and German A2-B1 level
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
