The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
As a member of the U.S. Consulate General (CG) in Frankfurt Human Resources (HR) team, this position is responsible for specific personnel functions performed at Mission Germany. The position directly supports CG Frankfurt and CG Düsseldorf with back-up support to three more consulates and Embassy Berlin – more than 700 Locally Employed (LE) Staff positions. Serves as Post Classification Advisor (PCA), providing guidance to supervisors in developing new/revising existing positions and submitting the complete package to the Regional Classification Center (RCC). Also responsible for recruitment and onboarding of employees, and educating employees about Merit Based Compensation and the performance management cycle. Other duties include management of the Foreign National Internship Program; assistance with Official Residence staffing; preparation of all types of personnel actions; placement and promotion of local employees; resignations and disciplinary actions; and preparing staffing patterns. Maintains personnel records and files and prepares periodic and non-recurring reports.
