What You’ll Do:

As a part of our Software Engineer team you will:

• Develop cutting-edge web & mobile applications
• Take our designers’ visions and use modern technologies to turn them into reality
• Work alongside our technical architects and leads as part of a tremendous team that tackles projects for end consumers and global auto manufacturers

They’ll look to you to deliver on several fronts including:

• Developing and delivering an amazing range of high profile, accessible and compliant web, and mobile projects
• Working with teammates and tech resources to discover the technical solutions that meet business requirements
• Work with some of the most innovative technologies in the business
  
  • .NET using REST, Docker and PostgreSQL on the backend
  • React, Typescript, and Single SPA on the front end
  • There are additional opportunities to explore more during our quarterly company-wide hackathons
• Implementing solutions in-line with in-house standards and practices
• Performing unit testing during the code development process
• Contributing to the evolution of our best practices, and ID suitable new tools, as well as system and service improvements
• Performing complex application programming activities using the latest technologies
• Creating scalable, accessible, and effective features across multiple browsers, operating systems, and device types
• Collaborating with our Product Owners, Designers, and other developers to find the best solutions under the sun, then deliver them to our production team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field, as well as 3+ years of relevant work experience
• OR – a background that encompasses 7+ years of relevant work experience or 2+ years with a Master’s in Computer Science or related technical field.
• You’ve got experience with:
  • .NET (C#) for backend (75% of your time will be spent here)
  • React or Angular for frontend (remaining 25% of your time will be spent here)
  • Familiarity with full web stacks, single page applications and microservice architecture
  • Experience developing internal business applications and business integration

Preferred Skills – (not a requirement, but we’d also love it if you were versed in some of these skills):

• Knowledge of how to implement API and integration technologies in an enterprise-class environment
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like New Relic, Pager Duty, Splunk, Cloud Watch
• You’re seasoned in Agile development methodologies, such as SAFe, Scrum or Kanban
• Experience using AWS

Group/Team: Reconditioning Team

Scope of Work: You will be joining a high visibility team of developers who have been put at the forefront of the next wave of vehicle reconditioning application projects. The goal of this large-scale project is to bring together all information regarding the: detailing, inspection, photos, car facts, and maintenance of vehicles to make the buying and selling process easier and more accessible to consumers.

Length: 6-month Contract to Hire

Location: 95% Work-From-Home > must be within the state of Georgia
