Project Details:

Cybernet Systems has an opening for a Cybersecurity Engineer. A candidate in this position operates as the security analyst. Hands on security integration, development, testing, and implementation. Performs in all activities of certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts of information systems, networks, as well as site accreditations. Assists the team of securing all information security for our customers’ applications, networks and stand alone devices. Development of DIACAP/RMF IA packages security test plans/procedures for complete computer networks. Conducts security analysis of system risks/vulnerabilities. Computer and network security analysis in development to product delivery. Works with the integrated product team for delivery of DIACAP/RMF packages and other security documentation.

Principal Duties

Employee independently plans and carries out assignments and resolves most conflicts independently. Coordinates work with others as necessary. Interprets policies and requirements in terms of established objectives. May develop changes to plans and/or methodology. Provides recommendations for improvements in order to meet program objectives.

Position Requirements

• 5 – 7 years of experience in Cybersecurity engineering or a related engineering field
• Proficient in Windows, Windows Server
• Exposure to Linux operating systems.
• Experience using security tools to evaluate system compliance
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time if/when needed
• Must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance
