Position: Java Developer, multiple openings (mid and senior level)
Location: 100% remote long-term
Duration:12 month renewable contract; this project is funded for 5 years.

Group & Team Details: work alongside a team of 20, 3 Team Leads, Developers, and a Scrum Master
Project: migration of a major platform for one of key investment teams, one of the largest initiatives this group has undertaken
Tech Stacks/Programming Languages: Java, Springboot, REST API, Microservices, DevOps and Cloud (Azure, although experience with Azure is NOT required! Experience with another cloud technology, such as AWS, works)
Compensation: 120-150K range depending on level of experience, and benefits that include 401K, employee stock program, weekly pay
Design and develop the technical solution/s in close collaboration with the Tech Lead and other members of the squad to deliver quality solutions to support the business needs!
Required Skills of Java Developer:
5+ years of development/programming for Senior roles
Experience designing and delivering data lake, data warehouses and reporting platforms
Experience with java, spring and springboot
Experience with a cloud technology, either AWS or Azure
Desired Skills of Java Developer:
• Must be able to communicate effectively to the tech lead, team members and the squad/ chapter lead
• Should possess the ability to understand the business concepts and relate it to the technical solutions
• Should possess an open mindset, help team grow and a quick learner in case of new technologies
• Provide solutions that deliver business value
• Provide a long term solution for the foundational Data and Analytics platform
