Position: Jr. Java Engineer
Location: Remote
Rate: Negotiable based on experience
Duration: 6 month contract

Position Description:

This role will work on an insurance clients internal Group/Member/Claim/Product platform to deliver and maintain features and functionality for business operations stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and groom incidents and defects.
• Monitor system transactions to prevent issues in the system.
• Provide technical and usability to business stakeholders on the system.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and defects
• Perform standard software support engineering assignments.

Required Skills:

• Java Programming
• MySQL or equivalent relational database
• GIT
• Maven
• Debugging
• MicroService development
• Javascript

Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):

• Working in Support Environment
• Working with users
• Troubleshooting problems
