Quick Overview:

Title: Senior Project Manager

Duration: 7 Month Contract

Location: Charlotte, NC based candidates will get first consideration, but position can be remote. Our client is working in a hybrid mode, 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

Technical Project Manager (Development background) Ability to run projects that follow agile or waterfall methodology Ability to handle multiple projects of various sizes

Required Skillsets:

• Oracle EBS Financials Project Experience
• Solid Project Management Skills – building a maintaining project plan (3 plans, 1000+ lines)
• Thorough understanding of SDLC and application of project management techniques and methods
• JIRA/MS Project/SharePoint experience – Tracking/Scope/Risk/issue/financial/budget management
• Agile SCRUM Management experience
• Technical IT knowledge – Application Development background
  • Contribute to and challenge technical designs
  • Ability to challenge developers on timelines
  • Provide enough technical knowledge to be able to represent team in a meeting without technical backup
• Teams/PowerPoint/Excel/Visio skills

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

• Waterfall Methodology Project Experience
• Agile Methodology – experienced SCRUM Master
• Alignment and partnership building with technology and business partner on director/VP level
• Persistent, independent work habits
• External vendor management / SOW management – multiple vendors on the project.
• Experience working with offshore teams for testing / development.
• Teams will consist of internal and external resources.
• Organizes project team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectives.
• Acts as the point of contact with client project management.
• Manages costs, schedules and quality by overseeing project deliverables.
• Ensures schedule and budget are met. Identifies need for changes and revises within established guidelines/policies as appropriate.
• Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies project risks.
• Develops, recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate.
• Interfaces with team members and stakeholders to anticipate and manage changes to projects such as but not limited to, technical requirements, business requirements and schedule.
• Experience working with client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors.
• Experience working with delivery assurance principles and appropriate procedures relevant to area.
• Experience working with techniques and approaches related to the architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases.
