Project Overview: Assist with ongoing IBM work for the data and applications team
Experience Level: Senior
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of overall experience with 5+ years’ experience on implementing IBM Enterprise Records management and/or Exterro
• Knowledge of current enterprise content management and information management technologies
• Experience with implementing Records management tools specially IBM Enterprise Records management for IBM FileNet.
• Experience working with automated e-discovery systems related to document review and holds preferable Exterro.
• Successfully leading team-based/individually contributing to projects that included discovery, requirements gathering engaging subject matter experts and stakeholders, translating requirements, and implementing IER.
• Design and implement IER file plan in a hierarchy of containers, including record categories and subcategories, record folders, and volumes, that defines the organization of records.
• Enabling records declaration, including for historical documents, and able to make best practice recommendations
• Person should be able to provide best practice recommendations for electronic discovery and legal holds placed by third party tools like Exterro on FileNet and impact to IBM Enterprise Records working on the same FileNet repository.
• Implement records classification, labeling, handling and disposition policies.
• Should be able to Define test strategies for auto declaration.
• Design workflows for disposition, disposition review, disposition of record categories, record folders, volumes, records, failure and exception workflow.
• Implement timely automated records disposal to achieve compliance with internal, industry and governmental regulations and laws.
• Experience with configuring and running Disposition Sweep tool.
• Design and implement the necessary security model to control access to records, following role based access model and geographical restrictions.
• Design and implement a Hold process to assure disposition is interrupted for records required for litigation or audit purposes.
• JAVA application development experience.
• Providing technical oversight and leadership to team members in delivering Records Management solutions.
• Demonstrating excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both orally and in written form
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively
• Aptitude for critical and analytical thinking
• Working effectively as a technologist in one or more industries and business areas
• Earned a B.A. or B.S. degree in a business or technology field of study
• Ability to work from home and/or offices in Chicago
Nice to Haves:
• Experience with IBM FileNet 5.5 BAW environment.
• Experience with Visual Studio and TFS or other source control management tools.
• Experience using JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Candidate must be the quintessential team player and a highly skilled communicator.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Meet objectives, for example, Record Management operational efficiency and lifecycle, meet compliance and litigation requirements, safeguard records, and be compliant to business retention requirements related to record management.
• Replace legacy tools in this capability with modern SaaS based tools.
• Work on solutions to manage legal holds as well as collect, protect and review data with targeted approach to reduce cost using tools like Exterro, Atlas.
• Work on a solution that span full e-discovery lifecycle and support privacy and information governance initiatives.
• Analyze, design, and develop strategy to implement IBM Enterprise Records (IER) for our EDM FileNet 5.5. BAW environment.
• Meet objectives, for example, Record Management operational efficiency and lifecycle, meet compliance and litigation requirements, safeguard records, and be compliant to business retention requirements related to records management.
• Take a leadership role in defining and implementing our Enterprise Records manager and support.
• Declare existing documents as records and define auto declaration for new documents.
• Design workflows for disposition, disposition review, disposition of record categories, record folders, volumes, records, failure and exception workflow.
• Work with business partners to design and deliver best-in-class solutions.
• Design and implement the necessary security model to control access to records, following role based access model and geographical restrictions.
• Stay on top of emerging technology trends, and methodologies.
• Proactively engage with system users to understand the business processes and functional requirements of change requests ranging from simple to complex
• Document new processes, maintain existing knowledge bases, and process documentations
