WAITING STAFF
Carewswood Garden Center Cafe is currently recruiting for waiting staff to join our fast paced daytime cafe.
Carewswood cafe is located just past Castlemartyr village in an old walled garden overlooking a luscious display of garden plants & Irish countryside.
The cafe opens at 9:30 to serve breakfast and coffee followed by lunchtime and afternoon delights until 5pm.
We are looking for candidates with keen interest in food and beverage, who relate well to people and are customer cantered & previous experience within a similar environment is desirable.
Positions available a full and part time Monday to Sunday 5 day week.
Responsibilities
Show customers to their seats and present our variety of menu options
Advise on the best food and drink choices for each customer and answer questions
Take orders and deliver them to the table mannerly & accurately
Attend to the tables and guarantee compliance to cleanliness standards
Check the quality of the final servings and resolve any issues
Deliver bills and accept payment
Work with other staff as a team
Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
Requirements
Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction
Customer-oriented and planning skills
Working knowledge of cash register and any ordering information system
Outstanding people skills
Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
