The Digital Marketing Owned Channels team is on the hunt for a passionate leader of digital prospect acquisition.

Our digital channels are the primary avenue for prospective clients to learn about our company, discover how we can help them achieve their financial goals, and open accounts with us. They are where prospects start & end their shopping journey, and they are the only place where prospects can find out everything we offer.

As a Director, you will be responsible for the following:

• Run prospect acquisition across schwab.com, organic search and the mobile app. And, you will have a team of 5+ savvy digital marketers and SEO experts to help you, do it.
• Set the vision, strategy, and plan for how we drive growth on these important channels as well as drive the execution of your vision.
• Know our prospects better than anyone and advocate for what we need to do to best serve them in our digital channels.
• Have deep consumer knowledge, industry insights, digital best practices, and creative thinking resolve where and how the team can best drive growth.
• Work with your team to deliver a range of initiatives, high profile & under the radar alike, and help unblock barrier to get work over the finish line.
• Partner with marketing leadership and colleagues across Schwab to settle how to best use the digital channels within the broader marketing, retail, and digital ecosystems.
• Lead our A/B testing program, SEO center of excellence, and prospect merchandising program to continuously improve what we do and what we deliver.
• Be an impassioned advocate and educator for digital marketing across the firm.

This Director will be a dynamic leader, accomplished in the following areas:

Consumer Led Strategy: An experienced strategist and able to develop an expansive strategic plan; is skilled at synthesizing consumer insights, industry trends, team/partner feedback, behavioral data and business needs to formulate strategies;Understands consumers deeply and build business plans with them in mind; Expertly works in white spaces and thrives building digital strategies against broad business outcomes

Compelling Vision: Excels at formulating a vision, articulating that vision, and motivating those around them to follow it; Applies their vision in interactions with partners & colleagues to be forward-thinking & make quick decisions as needed; Cultivates innovation & encourages those around them to think different

Passion for Delivery: Can set a clear execution plan and hold themselves and others accountable to delivering; Has the ability to make quick decisions to keep a project moving forward and thoroughly problem solve when roadblocks arise, as well as predict roadblocks before they arise

Digital Acumen: Has rich understanding of the digital world ; Understands the importance of how to build successful experiences and search programs as well as how to get them carried out ; Passion for keeping on top of digital trends and innovations; collaborates equally well with creative directors, architects, and developers

People management & development: Builds strong teams, with strength leading & developing a diverse pool of talent; Cultivates team morale & unity; Recognizes & celebrates team accomplishments; is open, encouraging and one who regularly gives team members opportunities to grow

What you have

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, digital marketing, and/or product marketing
• 5+ years of people management
• Experience in Financial Services
• Bachelor’s degree required (MBA a plus)
• Advanced strategic skills. Able to create a broad, comprehensive strategy and plan for a large team as well as targeted strategies for how to address specific business opportunities or challenges
• Visionary leader with a passion for driving growth and activating a cross-functional team to deliver on your vision
• Seasoned executional leader, able to direct a variety of projects with urgency, ab problem solve with team and unblock barriers, and make quick tradeoffs to most effectively deliver on business outcomes
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization and persuasively advocate for your team’s priorities
• Expertise attracting and growing talent, along with creating a collaborative, client-first, data-driven culture and inspiring innovation
• Expertise and comfort with the end-to-end process of creating digital experiences and capabilities.
