What you are good at

• Actively developing (coding) applications, working closely with peer developers and QA team members across scrum teams in designing, developing, testing, modernizing, supporting, and integrating client facing user interface components and supporting services
• Maintain and enhance existing code base and support new feature requests
• Define and implement design patters for UI components
• Develop generic UI components and frameworks that can be leverages across all of our UI applications.
• Optimize UI and presentation services to achieve performance and scaling goals
• Engage on UX to develop next generation user experiences
• Analyze business problems and processes, help refine requirements and design solutions for them.
• Drive continuous integration and deployment strategies leveraging tools like Jenkins/Bamboo with a DevOps philosophy
• Perform level three production support activities if the level one and level two teams are not able to resolve production issues
• Be a champion of new ways of collaborating with technology and business partners
• Search out and evangelize new and emerging technologies including open source tools
• Influence and implement improvements and efficiencies in the technical aspects of the development process
• Ensure the highest quality software is developed, delivered and maintained
• Be a key leader in the agile process fostering collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and transparency
• Be a mentor and positive role model to junior members of the team

What you have

• 4-5+ Years Modern Web Development Experience
• 4+ years’ experience with Functional Programming and Design
• 4-5 years’ experience of Angular & TypeScript required
• Experience with ngRX (RxJS + Angular)
• 5 + years of JavaScript programming experience required
• Good knowledge of optimizing client side and browser performance
• 3- 4+ years’ experience of Java (v.8 minimum, latest preferred)
• 3-4+ years’ experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design
• Experience with REST principles and methods experience
• 3+ years’ experience with Waterfall, Agile, Test Driven Development or related lifecycle methodologies required
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Master of Computer Science .
• Full stack web development experience building distributed scalable enterprise-class applications
• 5+ years demonstrated real world experience in HTML5, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, JavaScript Frameworks (Latest Angular 8, 9)
• 4+ years demonstrated real world experience in Java, SQL, JSON, REST, SpringBoot applications, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• 2+ years demonstrated real world experience in database principles, such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB or Hadoop.
• Broad and deep knowledge of IT/software technology & trends
• Experience scaling solutions to millions of clients
• Basic experience with major cloud platforms, tools and technologies i.e. PCF, GCP, AWS, Azure
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum processes in planning, implementation and support of business application components and services, including change & release management through CI/CD
• Domain knowledge and experience in application development, including client/server, web components, web services, micro components/services and micro frontends/UIs
• Strong communication, facilitation and motivational skills, with the ability to build rapport and grow consensus with scrum team members, peers and partners in other groups
• Software patterns and SOLID principles
• Strong knowledge of software development, testing, CI/CD using Bamboo, DevOps, maintenance and support
• Automated unit testing, performance and scalability engineering
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of products (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
• Client focused mindset – exceed the expectations of our internal and external customers.
• Must be capable of clearly articulating complex technical issues
• Experience interviewing for top diverse technical talent and growing teams
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where multiple objectives must be managed concurrently.

Preferred Skills, Education, Experience

• Experience with Spring Boot preferred
• Experience with real time, high volume transaction systems preferred
• Experience using Git, Bitbucket and Jira preferred
• Experience with TDD, Karma, Jasmine, Chai, Mocha, JUnit and other testing libraries preferred
• Experience with Angular 9 , Typescript , Java and Continuous Integration preferred
