CitiGroup Looking for Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst Full Time

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Provide subject matter expertise regarding performance return calculations. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user Areas. Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users.  Provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the Financial Services industry in the job offered or in a related occupation. Three (3) years of experience must include: Designing, coding, and architecting solutions for software platform, including computation check job to perform sanity checks and automating operational processes; Discussing with vendors, upstream/downstream partner applications, and other internal technology team members to validate applications, create node connections, and onboard new applications; Calculating performance returns, implementing new solutions, and investigating client complaints; Providing subject matter expertise with regards to performance return calculations (time-weighted returns and internal rates of returns); Analyzing performance return calculations to debug and review incorrect returns and validate recon across databases; and Investigating if returns are incorrect due to financial inputs (transaction amounts, position market values, transaction type, and flow weighting) or due to technology issue. 40 hrs./wk.
