Senior Manager of Business Intelligence & Analytics

Fast growing healthcare company is seeking a highly motivated mid-level Business Intelligence developer to add to our existing business intelligence team. This position offers the opportunity to further develop your skills across a broad range of projects and activities and new tools and technologies. This position is based in northern Lake County.

Responsibilities

• Experience in driving discussions with the Cloud Infrastructure team define the road map for Azure and evaluated multiple cloud platforms like Snowflake and Azure for Enterprise BI.
• You will hands-on direct the Cloud environment support the uses cases, security, and Azure Active Directory integration
• Drive the process for updating the current stack to more efficient modern data analytic core stack to compliment the Azure Storage, Data serving layer and RBACK policies to support the user access layer.
• You will manage and architect the entire data eco system for the company that comprises of creating of data pipelines, EDW, cubes for Adhoc reporting, Data visualization tools. That is currently being used all departments of the company.
• As Director you will strategically drive the design, architecture, development and implementation of data warehouse and business intelligence solutions for maintaining a high degree of accessibility and implementation of company-wide data standards.

• You will collaborate with product owners, subject matter experts and senior leaders to identify data needs, communicate key insights, and structure and prioritize business challenges by leveraging visualizations and other analytical tools
• You will play a key role in the deployment a structured approach to managing a portfolio of BI initiatives, devising a Business Intelligence Roadmap, and guiding the BI Governance team consisting of the CTO and other C- level suite and SVP from various departments
• You will initiate a talent development strategy for you team in pursuit of goal and career advancement to help eliminate turnover while providing technical leadership and managing the deployment and evolution of the EDW/BI systems including architecture, incorporation of data and analytical requirements
• Develop a plan for the execution of best practices and Agile/Scrum team sprints accountability
• You will Implement self Service BI solutions that have slashed hundreds of hours every month, by the improvement of the decision-making process so that users can pull their own reports
• Most of all you will effectively mentored, lead and manage a team of MSBI DW developers, data engineers and reporting specialist

Job Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience with MSBI stack relational databases and data warehouse concepts.
• Strong track record of architecting a business intelligence functionality leveraging MSBI stack using SSIS, SSRS.
• Proven experience in complex data queries using SQL.
• Strong knowledge of database and SQL skills, familiarity with data architecture and data modeling concepts of STAR and Snowflake schema. Must have experience loading a data warehouse.
• Demonstrated abilities in data analysis and critical thinking.
• Must display strong team leadership and interpersonal skills.

Huge Plus

• Experience with any Data Automation like RPA and/or Hyperautomation- ML/AI
• Power BI, Tableau or Qlik View.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
