The Tax Analyst is primarily responsible for the preparation or review of tax returns including sales, use, and property tax for assigned divisions. The position will also be responsible for interaction with taxing authorities related to audit requests and notices.
This position has the responsibility to work with the following activities:
Prepare and conciliate expenses and sales versus the invoices stamped and saved in the Service Administration Service
Generates tax reports, expense details and sales details that will help the Controller to calculate monthly taxes.
Prepares documents to claim VAT refunds and follow up the process.
Follows up VAT or any tax requirements as preparing additional information, reconciliations, explanations, scanning of documents.
Prepares and submit monthly and annual information as DIOT (Transactions with third parties), related parties, partners and shareholders.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
Validates vendors documents that meet REPSE registration (contracts, payrolls, social security payments, tax payments)
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Tax Analysis and preparation (sales, use, property, etc.), tax compliance and regulation, and auditing experience
Possess professional and courteous communication skills with individuals at various levels of the organization.
Detail oriented and organized with the ability to also understand the big picture.
