Senior Software Engineer I – Front End (Hybrid)

We are looking for a passionate senior front-end developer to join our mobility team, which sets mobility standards for our organization, support enterprise products, code, debug, test, create/identify innovative solutions and consult with software development teams across the organization. As a member of our team, you will function as a top-level technical expert in development through the application lifecycle, defining system scope, objectives and requirements. You will also collaborate with peers to identify and research application problems, search for solutions, and make recommendations.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities

• Create system designs to facilitate the inter-operability of large-scale business systems.

• Research, analyze, and define business solutions of large systems scope and complexity. Prepare detailed specifications for large complex projects and design solutions for complex business problems.
• Document test cases, expected test results, test data requirements, and collaborate with testing teams and business partners to resolve testing problems.
• Code, debug, test and support utilities, tools, and frameworks to support the application development process.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to team members and monitor the deliverables of the technical team.
• Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Qualifications – External

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/4-year Degree
• 5 or more years of experience in Software Development

Equivalent Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 8 or more years of Software Development Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate Degree
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate

• Google Professional Cloud Engineer

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to use multiple tools and techniques to facilitate the design, development, and integration of business systems
• Ability to communicate effectively (both written and orally) with all levels of audiences
• Knowledge of a wide range of technical systems or expertise in a narrower range

• Ability to develop increasingly complex business systems
• Ability to contingency plan, analyze systems for efficiencies, and develop test case scenarios
• Knowledge of multiple business functional / technical areas
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming (Java preferred)
• Experience with Front End JavaScript framework (Angular preferred)

• Knowledge of Webservices and API development using OpenAPI specification
• Knowledge of one or more major cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of user experience
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies and their application
• Knowledge of DevOps, OpenShift, GIT, and Testing Automation

• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC implementations
• Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Knowledge

• PrimeNG
• Google Analytics

• Terraform
• Knowledge of Micro Frontends or Composable Application Architecture
• Knowledge of Mobile Application Development, Cordova, Capacitor, and/or Ionic
• Knowledge of iOS Objective C and Android Java
