Job Description:

Embedded Hardware & Software Design Engineer

Responsibilities include:

1. Embedded hardware and software design using microcontrollers, programmable logic, RAM and FLASH memory
2. Communication protocols – Serial/Ethernet, Etc.
3. Analog and digital sensing and control.
4. Bootloaders, Embedded RTOS, Embedded Linux
5. Hardware design & troubleshooting ability is a necessity.
6. Schematic capture & management of PCB Layout
7. Managing the product development from specification to qualification of design
8. Supporting product in field applications
9. Ability to work within a Team Environment
   9A) An ability to communicate clearly to others in verbal and written form
   9B) Willingness to participate in Design Reviews of Hardware and Software

Qualifications:

More senior position would require minimum 5 years experience w/embedded hardware & software Engineering in a Research and Development environment.

A more junior candidate will be considered, if exceptional.

BSEE or related experience.
