Exciting opportunity for an outgoing individual who likes to show off our rental properties, meet a variety of people, and provide excellent customer service! No Real Estate License needed, but guaranteed hourly rate and paid mileage for the first 90 days , use of a company vehicle afterwards.
Summary/objective
Rental Showing Specialists have a wide range of responsibilities including marketing, sales, and administrative duties relating to the renting of available properties. Rental Showing Specialists meet with prospective tenants and show them available rental properties. The role of a Rental Showing Specialist is to provide the utmost customer service by touring the rental properties with prospective clients and helping to answer any questions they may have.
Essential functions

- Consults with prospective tenants to understand their needs; recommends appropriate rental properties.
- Show available rental properties to prospective tenants with a customer service mindset
- Provide property information to prospective tenants. You are expected to have complete knowledge of property details in order to maximize prospective tenant interest.
- Schedule showings for available properties when necessary
- Inspect properties for pre and post move-in based on company procedures, which requires taking photos and providing them to the marketing team.
- Communicate with prospective residents through various methods including phone, text, and email.
- Common Areas- picking up random debris and disposing of, as opposed to walking past with no action (example:= plastic bottle on floor)
- Arriving on time or prior to all scheduled showings.
- Following appropriate procedures for each property as listed.
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants, fellow workers and the general public
- Ensuring all security measures are taken as appropriate such as shutting off all lights when leaving a unit, locking the doors, and returning keys to the lock box.
- Reporting any maintenance issues and cleaning needs to the Field Operations Manager.
- Reporting any tenant issues or safety issues to the Property Management Office.
- Checking the units for anything that is not listed on the rental listing.
- Adhering to all company policies
- Promptly responding to all incoming phone calls, emails, and texts.
- Assisting with recordkeeping, inventory and paperwork as required.
- Assist the rest of the property management team, including the office staff, with other duties as needed

- Rental properties/apartments – sometimes vacant/sometimes tenant occupied

- Often exposed to weather due to maintenance of interior and exterior of dwellings

Physical demands
- Prolonged periods standing and walking, walking up and down stairs
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to traverse a variety of properties in a variety of weather.
Travel required
Driving a vehicle to and from various rental properties daily.
Required education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with Smartphone and applications
- Ability to follow directions and propensity to learn
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English for business purposes
- Very detail oriented, organized and reliable
- Computer-savvy and familiar with G-Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to build rapport with prospective tenants
- Ability to prioritize and maintain own schedule
Preferred education and experience
Previous experience in property management, customer service, sales or other related fields is a plus

- Dependable vehicle required with up to date insurance, inspection and registration is required (Mileage will be reimbursed!)
