Etna Supply’s M&E Manufacturing shop is hiring for a 2nd Shift Shop Supervisor to help lead the growth of our department, develop our team and oversee daily operations. Our shop is dedicated to exceeding great customer satisfaction by custom manufacturing Fire Protection Systems to their needs. A qualified candidate would have leadership experience within the Welding industry. Pay starts mid 20’s per hour depending on experience.
2nd shift starts at 2:00pm Monday – Thursday

2nd Shift Welding Shop Supervisor Job Summary:
Working leader that oversees second shift, including directing workload of second shift staff, acting as a liaison to management, maintaining a safe, productive, and professional work environment, and performing various fabrication shop duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Acting as the liaison between management and second shift staff, the Shift Leadperson is responsible for overseeing second shift and expected to do the following:
· Direct, coordinate, and assign daily tasks and work assignments.
· Keep management informed of overall shift developments and staff performance (i.e. staffing or resources needed, progress/delays, safety issues, team concerns and suggestions, etc.).
· Informal problem solving.
· Maintain a safe, productive, and professional work environment for second shift.
The Second Shift Leadperson may provide input to management but does not have full authority or exercise full decision-making authority in the following areas.
· Hiring
· Disciplinary action, up to and including termination
· Complaint/grievance resolution
· Formal written performance evaluation
· Reclassification, promotion/demotion, pay
