Student Recruitment Senior Associate

Your key responsibilities

• You will sit with the EY Irish Talent Team which (whilst currently working remotely), ultimately it is located in our city centre office on Harcourt St, supporting the firms graduate and undergraduate recruitment programmes which are key to the firm delivering its strategy.

• Day to day you will spend your time in the office supporting the business and keeping them up to date on the status of their candidates. You will build solid relationships with them understanding the type of talent they require and working with them to build engagement on campus. Data will be important and due to volume spreadsheets will be a big part of your day to day.

• When you are not in the office you are visiting the various college campuses around the country, building relationships with careers offices and attracting potential leaders of the future. You will represent EY at careers fairs and present to large groups of students on why EY is a great place to create your future. A key part of this role is to work with our recruitment marketing department on building social assets in the form of Instagram stories and Facebook content to enhance engagement with the student population.

Skills and attributes for success

• You must be ok with ambiguity. No two days are the same in this role and things can change at the last minute so if that makes you uncomfortable then this is not the job for you.

• You must be excellent with attention to detail. Our environment consists of people who are really good with numbers so the detail is important!

• You must also be comfortable standing up in front of a group of people and speaking about what we do at EY and why students should join us.

• Finally being a team player is key. This team work hard and it’s all hands on deck to ensure everyone is supported.

Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications – External

To qualify for the role you must have:

Ideally you will have some previous graduate recruitment experience but that is not essential. If you are in an account management position, project management or experienced hire recruiter you will have transferable skills for this role.

Ideally, you’ll also have:
