This AutoCAD Electrical Engineering Controls Programmer is at family-friendly and employee-friendly electrical controls company. This company is great for less experienced engineers to work because there is an opportunity to learn a lot and work on a great variety of things. The primary focus is on robot cells, material handling and conveyor systems including sorting, custom machinery and testing equipment. Company sales have been doubling annually. Employees are not pigeon-holed here as projects vary greatly. The machines are new and unique so this person will always be working on something new. Employees could be involved in a monstrous software project and then go to a panel design. There’s a lot of variation and opportunity to continue to learn. They do custom work and work with a lot of other bigger companies.

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

• Creating AutoCAD Electrical schematics
• Creating AutoCAD Electrical control panel designs
• Writing Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC’s to automate new machines made from scratch onsite
• Installing, troubleshooting and programming electrical control systems

Depending on the person’s background, this could be a junior or senior level position. The characteristics of the successful candidate will include the following:

• Two or more years of AutoCAD Electrical schematic and control panel experience
• Two or more years of PLC creation and modification experience
• One or more years of hands-on electrical experience
• Possess a willingness to travel 60%-more travel is available for those who enjoy travel.
