Gables Search Group Looking for Embedded Software Engineer at Youngstown, OH Full Time

We are seeking Embedded Software Engineer for our client who has over 35 years successfully designing and installing custom systems. For those individuals that qualify, their experience, creativity, and engineering skills will be applied to unique automation projects, for manufacturing in the Specialty Metals, Circuit Breakers, Automotive, Food Processing, and many other process-oriented industries.

Embedded Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues to develop requirements.
• Ability to transform requirements into working systems from a blank sheet of paper.
• Understanding of the following topics through class work or professional experience:
• Object Oriented Programming
• Relational Databases
• Multi-Threading
• Data Structures
• Software Development Lifecycle
• Operating System
• Experience with or willingness to learn all the technologies listed below:
• .NET
• JavaScript
• HTML
• CSS
• SQL Server
• PostgreSQL
• Embedded C Programming

Embedded Software Engineer Requirements:

• If your background includes any combination of the following, we would like to speak with you about the Embedded Software Engineer
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Math
• 5 years plus of Software Development experience
• Process Experience in Metals, Circuit Breaker, Automotive, Food, Pharma or related industry
• Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident ( holder). No sponsorship available currently.
