We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) to join our client’s collaborative team to work locally and with their global office.
Because of the growth in the level of cybersecurity maturity, there is a need for this new role. You will oversee a key project of replacing/automating the current manual identity system and be part of the management team.
Company wants to improve /automate the process flow and on-boarding of all users. They anticipate selecting a new system to move to by the end of the year. It likely will be Sailpoint, Omada, or One Identity. Currently the Company has a manual access system. The system has been in place for 20 years and is a hodgepodge of custom technologies. It takes several weeks to get an individual onboarded – up and running; it is mainly provisioning work now. Team members are taking time with tickets to onboard someone and taking away from their other more strategic work.
Our client is seeking an energetic and team-oriented individual experienced in identity and access management technologies and system administration.
This full-time IAM role is based in Chicago, IL and offers a hybrid working model (2-3 days remote).
As an Identity & Access Management, you will be part of the Infrastructure team responsible for the company’s identity and access management infrastructure. You will also partner with other departments – the Information Security Office, Server Operations, and Integrations and Application teams – to create solutions that meet security and business requirements while demonstrating a personal commitment to a high-performance environment.
In this IAM role, you can expect to:
To succeed in this Identity & Access Management position, you will need a BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or relevant work experience. You will also require at least 3 years of work experience in IAM and Active Directory Services. In addition, you should have exposure to Microsoft Cloud, Azure, and Shibboleth.

Size: Company 60,000 active users | IT Organization 120 people | Infrastructure Department 25people | Role eventually 1-2 direct reports & evolving
Reporting: To the Director of Infrastructure who reports to the CIO; This position will be part of the management team.
