Gables Search Group Looking for JR. Web Developer at Lancaster, SC Full Time

• Working in a team environment, creates, edits, supports and streamlines publishing of high-quality web content both internet and intranet
• Seamlessly translating the web designer’s designs into code
• Participate in creative planning, marketing project meetings to identify project needs and assist in their attainment
• Develop functional and appealing mobile first websites.
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements
• Use a combination of markup languages to write web pages
• Ensures that web updates are coordinated with web manager, and implemented on time
• Understanding the principles of SEO
• Understanding the principles of Accessibility
• Works with graphics personnel, brand managers, and business units to offer additional talents for various projects.
• Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives
• Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.
• Regular attendance is required.

Minimum Requirements

Must be a self-starter with the ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal direction or supervision. HTML, CSS, and JS development experience preferred, also experienced in using MailChimp, Shopify, WordPress, Joomla and a variation of Email validation platforms desired.

Preferred

• Experience with front-end frameworks.
• Strong HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Familiarity with version control (like Git), continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts, WordPress and with Static site generators.
• Constant curiosity and desire to improve yourself, your colleagues, and your product.
• A mind for analytical thinking, digging into details, and leveraging decisive judgement skills and creativity to solve problems.
• The ability to prioritize, strategize, execute, and deliver projects on time.

Education and Experience:

Minimum 2 years of Web development experience

B.S. degree or equivalent.
