Gables Search Group Looking for Staff Electrical Engineer at Carlsbad, CA Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a Staff Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will design and develop electronics of exciting new communication systems.

What you will do in the position:

• Function as electrical lead in new product development teams.
• Perform board-level electronics design and validation of products and systems.
• Participate in project planning.
• Write technical specifications.
• Identify risks and suggest mitigation approaches.
• Support regulatory testing of new products.
• Review other team members’ electronic designs.
• Be an electronics design expert consultant for other Engineers.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

• Knowledge and desire to be an electronics design expert.
• Good technical leadership skills.
• Good electronics design skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player mentality and a positive outlook.
• E-CAD software such as schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.

It would be great if you are familiar with:

• Wired or wireless communication systems.
• RF electronics design and test.
• High speed digital electronics design and test.
• Audio electronics design and test.
• Basic programming skills.

Desired Experience & Education:

• 7 or more years as an electronics design engineer
• BSEE Degree or equivalent
