Gordon Food Service Looking for Master Data Analyst at Wyoming, MI Full Time

Combines analytical and data management skills with subject matter expertise in a specific area of knowledge to develop and implement effective master data business processes. Provides direction and shares knowledge with other key stakeholders to influence change. Makes decisions related to master data and supports strategic projects with complex data management needs. Maintains domain expertise and advises internal stakeholders about cross-functional usage and the impacts of product, supplier, customer, or marketing master data and related processes.

Essential duties:

• Makes business decisions related to data, processes, and systems
• Shares expertise in master data, associated applications, and their relationships amongst cross-functional stakeholders, customers, tasks, and business requirements
• Develops training materials and master data process documentation
• Responsible for domain data governance and data integrity
• Acts as the business lead for system or process development affecting their assigned domain. Leads the adoption of master data tools, processes and systems
• Provides problem solving, develops system recommendations, and leverages technology to advance productivity.
• Conducts regular compliance verification and enforces documented standards and protocols
• Supports the development, implementation, and documentation of effective business processes, tools, and operational reporting which promote quality and efficiency
• Executes strategic projects with complex data management needs
• Provides advice to teammates and internal stakeholders about cross-functional master data topics
• Conducts specialized mass data updates involving a large number of records
• Adapts analysis and processes to changing business requirements and scenarios
• Manages and integrates complex data from multiple sources and formats
• May assist with functional and regression testing to assure application behaviors meet business expectations
• May conduct requirements gathering and provides decision support for other key stakeholders
• May provide analysis in enterprise cross-functional projects with key domain objectives and responsibilities
• May assist new business impact analysis and opportunities
• May provide support for team performance metrics running daily, weekly, or monthly reporting

Ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, database, presentation, email and internet software applications, and online meeting technologies.
• Knowledge of SAP S4, SAP MDG or experience with GFS systems and business processes preferred.

Three years previous buyer, supply chain, finance, accounting, or distribution experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience at GFS
