Hansell Tierney Looking for Technical Recruiter II/III at Seattle, WA Full Time

Hansell Tierney is assisting our client, a world-renown aerospace organization, with their search for Technical Recruiters (level II or III). This is a high-octane, 6+ month contract role with endless potential for career growth. 

Location: Remote (U.S. Based)

Job Description:
As a part of a team of talented and collaborative Recruiters, you will be responsible for identifying, interviewing and hiring the best and the brightest to design, test, manufacture and launch reusable spaceflight systems. 

Responsibilities:

• Full life cycle recruiting from the first phone call to the new hires first day
• Develop sourcing models and plans to generate talent pools, networks and pipelines; create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent; calibrate candidates with hiring managers
• Develop prospects into candidates. Engage, sustain relationships, screen and interview
• Collaborate, coach and develop other members of the Talent Acquisition Team – feed it forward. Contribute to the knowledge base of the team by sharing new talent insights and useful industry information
• Partner with hiring managers, business unit leaders and other members of the team by leading and participating in scoping discussions, weekly tag ups and debriefs
• Prepare/contribute to search status reports and lead/participate in client update meetings on active searches
• Provide strategic guidance and become a trusted advisor to leaders by delivering results
• Dive deep with an inquisitive mindset into the technical requirements of the requisitions and business units you will be supporting

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in full cycle recruiting
• Experience recruiting technical talent in the following industries:
• Manufacturing and Operations: Welding, CNC Programming, Production Control, Quality
• Aerospace: Avionics Engineering, Engine and Vehicle Design, Test Engineering, Systems Engineering, Program Management
• Flexibility – has developed solutions to complex talent acquisition challenges which required the use of ingenuity and innovation, ensuring the solution(s) were consistent with the organizations objectives
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills having served as a consultant to senior leadership and as an external spokesperson
• Proven history of collaboration with a knack for proactively communicating across locations and across teams
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, simultaneously
• Ability to adapt in a fluid environment and without appreciable direction while producing results or troubleshooting independently
• Inquisitive; with a boundless desire to learn and a compassionate team player who relishes continual learning
• Insatiable desire to delight hiring teams and a personal commitment to continuously improve delivery
• Success contributing to new talent acquisition techniques and standards, elevating overall team performance and capability
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

Desired:

• A track record of success recruiting talent at an executive search firm, high volume agency and/or at a dynamic start up experiencing rapid growth
• Experience recruiting technical talent in Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Automotive, Manufacturing, Software, Medical Device, or Space and Defense industries
• Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer
