The Director of Employee Communications plays a pivotal role in building and implementing employee communications, recognition and engagement strategies and activities targeted to employees in the Corporate, Retail and Operations Centers.
This position requires a creative and highly organized communications “generalist” who will develop communications campaigns and activities to educate and engage employees; drive emotional connection to MillerKnoll and its collective of brands; support strategic business objectives; and reinforce the company culture. This individual is comfortable working with senior business and Human Resource executives and has the ability create compelling PowerPoint presentations, speeches and experiences for live meetings, including video production and post-meeting survey analysis.
This position serves as the communications lead for all Employee Benefits and Integration communications initiatives to drive awareness and inspire action, working closely with Benefits and leadership teams and third-party providers. This role provides communications support to Operations and Retail functional leaders for local communications.
This individual will co-lead and implement our culture and behaviors program and lead the strategy and development of our new Intranet, which will launch in 2023. In addition, the individual will create and execute the strategy for using Workday, working with business leaders as the tool is rolled out across the organization, interfacing with IT partners, driving content strategy and collaborating with other change agent managers.
