Hey, I’m Will — I’m currently helping one of my top clients prepare for the future as they overhaul a niche software application that has gained incredible traction in their small space. They have a roadmap of how and where they want their core apps to change, but YOU would be responsible to take the reins to help them figure out HOW to get there.
SALARY/BENEFITS
This client is expecting to pay between 140K – 175K base salary, but they are open to more for the right candidate. They also offer a strong benefits package including 401K and a full suite of expected benefits (dental, vision, medical, Life Insurance, etc)
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is a ~10-person subsidiary of a HUGE Mining Company that has built a pretty cool application that has widespread adaptation in their super niche, unique space. There are FASCINATING technical challenges surrounding not only the core languages but also the 3D Modeling and IoT domain. This role offers a unique, and FUN opportunity for the right individual.
You would be hands-on in this role about 70% of the time, but to be clear this role is set up as a leader of others as well. You would spend about 30% of your time leading/managing/guiding a team of 3, including a Junior, Mid, and Senior developer, as well as 1-2 other potential future, hires. You would be formally managing this team, and informally mentoring and leading the team as they grow. You will also work hand-in-hand with the company’s executive team. They are looking for someone who can lead/roadmap/guide their small team both now and into the future.
Requirements:
— 10+Years of Production Software Development Experience
— Track record of working with Object-Oriented Language, specifically C# / .NET
— Proficiency in database and Software Architecture Design
— Previous experience managing a small team of developers, OR mentoring developers in a “Team Lead” role
— Experience OR interest in 3D, IoT
