Responsible for the Technical Department, providing leadership to existing technical team (consists of 1 technical supervisor and several technicians) by ensuring the entire plant laundry machinery, utilities equipment, premises and facilities are maintained at optimum level so that operations could carry out smoothly, efficiently and effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure all maintenance operations adhere to the applicable statutory legislations and regulation, also responsible for all the technical staff to work in a safe and healthy environment.
To manage plant technical maintenance activities, technical staff planning, deployment and improve productivity of the technical operations.
To ensure the life span of all equipment, system and structure can be prolonged with minimum disruption and operating costs.
To prepare and manage annual technical operational budget
To take charge of workplace safety & health
To maintain ISO as well as bizSAFE certification
To lead and manage procurement and IT related matters
To take up projects or committees as and when assigned by the Management.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Degree in relevant discipline such as in M&E, Industrial & System Engineering.
Relevant working experience in manufacturing preferred.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Able to work independently and results-orientated.
Possess ability to lead and motivate a team.
