Irish Distillers joined Pernod Ricard in 1988, gaining access to unprecedented levels of investment and an extensive global distribution network. Pernod Ricard is the No.2 worldwide producer of wines and spirits with over 300 brands including Absolut, Jacobs Creek, Beefeater Gin and MMPJ and many more.
We are currently recruiting for the position of Demand Planning Analyst, based in Fox & Geese and reporting to Colm Mitchell, Senior Planning Manager
The purpose of this role is to carry out and deepen the analytical and project management functions of the business to ensure we can provide world class Customer Service solutions and service to Export Affiliates.
The impact of this role (KPI’s and Projects) will also favourably contribute towards Irish Distillers, Pernod Ricard Group and Market Company (Customer) objectives. This position will be responsbile for specific regions/markets including established and emerging.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimization of the Connect System which is an integrated end to end Supply Chain management module facilitating Group, Brand Company and Market Company inventory replenishment and controls. Contribute to Group Steering and collaboration with other Brand Companies as well as Connect Developments. Support the International Customer Relationship Team on Connect performance, KPI’s, maintenance and stability.
Support analysis and Supply Review process (S&OP with customers). Prepare Supply Review analysis from Connect and other source systems as well as Supply Review decks for the team. Participate in and/or Lead Supply Review meetings as required and circulate minutes and actions.
Represent team on Supply Chain projects that impact across Production for IDL and/or Group purposes (i.e. Optimised Inventories, Lead time reduction, Planning, S&OP).
Lead International Customer Relationship multi market projects with communications to all market companies (ie. premiums, innovations and mandatory changes), liaise with the team appropriately.
Represent International Customer Relationship Team on new innovation launches (i.e. Jameson Caskmates) and product re-stages to ensure smooth process and rollout to all markets.
Support development of relationship with International Marketing, Innovation and Finance in relation to ways of working to deliver smooth process and world class customer service.
Develop analytical data and compliance KPI’s from Connect re forecast accuracy (by Market/Brand/SKU), in market inventories, slow movers, OTIF/volume fill, lead times, modifications and inventory coverage.
Generation of all freight analysis reporting against monthly freight budget and highlight main variance drivers across each cost centre with segregation of BAF/IMO fuel +/-, volume variance +/-, rate variance, expedited transport, YOY volume analysis
Develop International Customer Relationship reporting process to International Marketing, Production Senior Management Group and Finance for budget and forecast purposes. This role will work closely with Senior Management both in IDL and across the Group in order to optimise and improve Group Supply Chain process.
Support and build relationships as required with Export Affiliates.
Support grey market activity analysis for IDL.
Qualifications and experience:
Third level qualification in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent.
Experience in research methodology an advantage
Minimum 2 years in a similar role
IT and process improvement experience
Strong commercial and cross-functional experience will be a distinct advantage
Strong analytical and numeric ability
Significant and proven experience of to adding Value to work Teams and the Business
Proven consistent record of taking ownership of and driving own personal development
Key Skills Required:
Effective communication skills
Story telling & scene setting using numerical data
Strong IT and modelling skills, knowledge of SAP and Power BI would be a key advantage
