Essential Responsibilities:
Tactical Leadership:
Generate and assemble technical and commercial Proposals in response to customer Requests-For-Quotation within deadlines
Provide daily tactical support to Customers by delivering technical & commercial information and proposals with significant focus on maximizing added value by orders from new and existing customers
Track active quotations to determine necessary follow up to improve opportunity funnel health and the ultimate proposal hit rate
Actively drive Bid Management acc. to lP 500 and PSF Approval Process
Where necessary, secure technically and commercially compliant quotations from sub vendors for buy outs and equipment
Receive and enter clean orders on factory, own the clean order process and be responsible to hand over jobs to Contract Management
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitive offerings from both a commercial and technical standpoint and collaborate with the Head of Bid Management to define the key value propositions for the customer
Deliver tactical feedback to shape growth playbook for the assigned product(s) and to strengthen positioning against competition to enable sustainable, global growth with new customers and applications
Collaborative Support:
Support development of customer communication strategy with input to Sales & Distribution and stimulate greater technology adoption for assigned product(s)
Execute Sales strategy in a concerted and sustainable manner directly or with local Sales and provide ongoing feedback to refine Customer and/or Market intelligence
Regularly engage in Customer presentations to promote the value and adoption for assigned product(s), either virtually or in face-to-face meetings, to support the overall product communication strategy
Assist Contract & Project Management in the interpretation, clarification, and execution of Customer orders
Support Design and Engineering in the interpretations of Customer specifications to fully meet Customer’s requirements for the application of the product(s)
Provide direct mentoring of local Sales & Customers to develop stronger and broader support for the assigned product(s)- Clarification and processing of orders, respectively order processing
Position Requirements:
‘Required Experience & Education:
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Min. 2 years experience in application engineering, sales or project management
Strong knowledge in centrifugal and/or rotary pump technology
lnterpretation and Analysis of Customer’s industrial processes
Strong PC Skills, Windows, MS Office and ePrism/proAlpha
Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
Desired Experiences:
Experience in interacting with international customers is a plus
Rotating equipment design and manufacturing experience is a plus
Experience in international bid management is a plus
