The Legal Department has a number of key operations to meet legal and regulatory obligations. Within the Legal Department, Corporate Legal Managed Services is a legal strategic partner within Corporate Legal. The team is comprised of legal and non-legal professionals with expertise in law, corporate governance, legal entity management, process improvement, technology, digital transformation, data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. This combination of expertise helps lawyers be more efficient by implementing technology solutions, utilizing digitized data, and leveraging our global scale to deliver high-quality legal services.
The Data Management team focuses on the oversight, governance, and management of the firm’s critical business data to reduce data risks and enhance decision making. The team consults with business partners and technology to assess and mitigate data-related operational risks in areas of appropriate use, customer privacy, consumption, and quality. The team ensures that data is available, understandable, and reliable; documents critical data in common data dictionaries to improve knowledge firm-wide; assesses, manages and maintains strategies that reduce data redundancy; and deploys tools and design processes to increase confidence in data used for decision making.
