The Role:

To further strengthen our coverage and reach in this important market, we are looking for an Investment Professional to join the team, reporting to a senior Investor.

Investment Professionals work closely with our Investment Specialists to provide support in all facets of daily business routine, whilst maintaining awareness of, and sensitivity to the confidential nature of Private Banking clients.

This role will be responsible for:

• Brokerage accounts trade execution: the candidate will be part of a team responsible for executing Clients’ directed trades across asset classes.
• Trade life-cycle management: the candidate will own the full trading life-cycle, from pre-trade checks, trade execution to booking and post-trade checks, including risk disclosures, product marketing obligations and reporting execution details to Clients.
• Extensive Asset Classes execution knowledge: the candidate will develop an in deep knowledge of all asset classes and products offered by the Private Bank
• Extensive Clients and Markets coverage: the candidate will cover the Hong Kong and Philippines market , having the opportunity to work in a fast and dynamic multi-market and multi-cultural environment
• Act as a primary contact with external clients for day to day account administration, servicing, execution of investment securities and products
• Provide proactive personalized service including transaction processing/execution of investment products, assist client on cash flow management, inquiries, investigation handling, and account monitoring
• Open new accounts as instructed by clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is requested, received and approved for operations
• Assist advisors in preparation for client meetings, help prepare and provide analysis of investment performance or other client presentations to deliver to clients

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business or equivalent in any discipline
• Minimum 2 years of solid client service and account administration experience within the financial services industry
• Previous Brokerage/Trading experience is preferred
• Alongside fluent English, business fluent verbal and written Mandarin Chinese language skills are preferred as the job holder will frequently interact with mainland Chinese clients
• Knowledge of financial markets and products are a plus
• Ability to work under tight market deadlines and accuracy in executing Clients’ directed orders are a must
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
• Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
• Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
• General comfort level with Internet/Intranet usage and ability to learn proprietary software
• Licensed to carry on Type 1, 4 and 9 regulated activities or willing to take the qualification exam in first 6 months of employment
