Are you our next Creative Services Manager?

Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model

Contract type: Permanent

We are looking for an experienced team leader who can balance the art of delivering best in class creative solutions in a corporate environment while fostering a culture that empowers the development of team members and the buy-in of internal stakeholders. With an inhouse innovation centre and best in class recording studio, digital solutions are critical to our approach to market. The successful candidate will be focussed on propelling our creative department into the adoption of future proof programmes and technologies that enable modern solutions that reflect our brand and our expertise.

A snapshot of your peer group:

• A third level qualification in design or other relevant discipline
• 8+ years’ relevant experience in a corporate environment or in a creative agency with corporate clients
• 5+ years’ experience leading a creative team or department
• A creative mind-set, with a thorough understanding of the design process while working to deadlines
• Depth and breadth of experience delivering excellent creative for large campaigns and proposals in various digital forms including video and website
• An eye for detail and a passion for design, maintaining awareness of latest techniques, software packages, equipment, best practices and developments in the design community
• Client-centric, with an excellent work-ethic and a positive, robust and flexible outlook
• Can negotiate successfully with senior stakeholders, to manage competing priorities
• A proven ability to drive change
• Ability to work to multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and project management
• Adept Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Power Point
• Strong technical experience across motion graphics, 3D and video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender 3D)
• Have strong skills in typography, layout, digital design and UX
• Familiarity with print production and print finishes
• Professional services/partnership experience highly desirable

Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:

• Leading the Creative Services Team, managing the workflow of designers, ensuring excellence in creative outputs and delivering a high-end customer experience for our internal clients
• Act as a Creative Director, working closely with the internal stakeholders and Designers to ensure quality creative briefs and concepts
• Drive improvements in operations and effectiveness of the Creative Services team
• Foster an innovative environment, ensuring the team is up to date with latest design trends
• Ensure the right technical skills and capabilities are present in the team, in order to meet demand from the business. Nurturing development and up-skilling of individuals where needed.
• Optimise the mix of in-house/outsourced resourcing. Oversee the creative work of external agencies, ensuring a robust quality control process internally and with external suppliers
• Leading a team of experienced designers, building innovative and creative solutions, nurturing their development

You will be joining a team of 5 designers, form an integral part of our Marketing & Communications team of 35.
