Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as an important member of the agency s leadership team and implement the strategic vision of the agency, working closely with the leadership team. The COO manages the comprehensive array of services in MCHS s foster care, adoption, transitional living, residential, clinical, and community based programs. The COO will create new programs and services and develop strong new business partnerships and community relationships to serve more children and families. The COO will assist with proposals, budgeting, procurements, contract negotiations, client presentations, market analysis, and program development in behavioral health, mental health, community development, housing, and child welfare services.

Education and Experience
The COO will be an experienced and mature leader with broad child welfare and nonprofit leadership experience, ideally with a background in program development, expansion and administrative leadership.
a. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience with two (2) in nonprofit management
b. Licensure in his/her respective field is preferred.

b. Licensure in his/her respective field is preferred.
3. Must meet the State s Moral Character standard.
4. Experience with CCI licensed or CPA licensed agency.
5. Experience with a mental health or behavioral health agency.
