Chief Product Data Officer Director Job Purpose
The Chief Product Data Officer (CPDO) Director is responsible for defining and executing the strategy to “productize” Data as a service for different company stakeholders (B2C, B2B, COPS, etc) to enable generation of value and direct impact to the P&L. The role includes:
Another key responsibility of this role is building and developing a high performing multidisciplinary Regional Digital Data Team.
As part of the leadership team, the CPDO Director is responsible to contribute to Millicom s overall strategic goals, achieve profitable growth and to continuously improve operational performance.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Digital Data & Advanced Analytics Strategy, Governance, Operating Model, Technology, Architecture & Tools.
Deliver top level end-to-end automated Data capabilities & solutions, including: Collection, Processing, Intelligence/Insights generation, Integration, Engagement, and Visualization. Ensure Data is an integral part of decision making.
Create, consolidate and develop a high performance multidisciplinary Global Digital Data team, covering multiple areas of expertise in the field (including Advanced Analytics Managers, Digital Data Product Managers, Data Engineers and Campaign Specialists).
Development and implementation of global roadmap of Advanced Analytics use cases, Engagement activities, and Digital Data solutions. Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of projects within Tigo standards.
Enable delivery of superior Customer Profiling, Recommendation Engines and Engagement activities to provide relevant propositions for our customers and improve Base Management.
Define, implement, and manage adequate processes and solutions to ensure a) data quality and b) compliance with privacy/regulatory requirements, aligned to the CDO strategy.
Enable maintenance and evolution of Digital Data Ecosystem & Tools. Manage relationship with multiple partners and providers of different tools and solutions. Explore future partner relationships that could help grow our business.
Responsible for the entire lifecycle of the multiple solutions, showing detailed knowledge of the processes involved at each stage (project planning, execution, and operation), as well as methods for resolving issues that can occur throughout.
Deliver tangible and measurable business value from Data Processes, Activities, Use Cases, Campaigns, and Investments.
Build effective working relationships with commercial teams and other services organization to support development and maintenance of Digital Data related projects/activities.
Build partnerships with local Digital & Data Teams to drive standardization, scale, adoption of capabilities and tools. Work towards a single Digital Data agenda across the region.
Develop and foster best practices for Digital Data Capabilities across the company (both regionally and locally). Promote sharing and reapplication. Drive level of knowledge and engagement in the organization.
Manage Digital Data & Analytic Budget. Ensure definition of choices and priorities is aligned with company/business requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that all developments, projects, etc, follow Tigo s best practices, policies and procedures.Comply with all Millicom policies, and deliver against statutory, regulatory, and legal obligations.
