Aircraft Maintenance Training Instructors are responsible for practically teaching training courses in an informal setting training such as, but not limited to, all aircraft systems & procedures, maintenance paperwork, stores department procedures (including hazardous materials handling / shipping safety), test equipment, composite repair, run / taxi operations & other subjects to Aircraft Maintenance personnel.

The AMTI teaches recurrent, informal, test equipment & on-the-job training to company & vendor personnel. They regularly are tasked with researching, developing, implementing, & revising curriculum.

Assisting with maintenance, upkeep, security & auditing of training records is a vital aspect of this role, along with maintaining proper completion / submission of training documentation.

The Maintenance Training Instructor will also perform other duties as assigned.

PSA Aircraft Maintenance Training Instructor Requirements :

• Must have High school diploma or GED
• Must have current FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification
• Must have CRJ 700 or 900 aircraft maintenance experience
• Must be able to complete PSA Indoctrination training & General Familiarization (training qualifications accepted)
• Must be familiar & able to navigate applicable Manuals (GMM, AMM, FIM, Wiring diagrams etc.)
• Must have strong ability to utilize MS Office suite & maintenance software
• Must be proficient in the delivery of on-the-job training, presentations, &reports
• Must have ability to travel & work different shifts as required
• Must have good working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations
• Must develop thorough knowledge of PSA Manuals
• Must be Run Taxi / Qualified AMA if applicable (within 120 days of hire)
• Must be Airworthiness Release Qualified (within 120 days of hire)
• Must be detail oriented w / ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment
• Must have working knowledge of test equipment, specialized tools & machinery
• Must be capable of using respirators & other personal protective equipment (i.e., eye & hearing)
• Must possess / have ability to obtain a U.S. Passport / equivalent (within 90 days of start date)
• Must have strong communication skills w / ability to speak, read, & write in English
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
